Donald Trump panned a Joe Biden speech that tagged the president with fueling white supremacy, tweeting after meeting with victims and families of a mass shooting that the remarks were 'Sooo Boring!'

The president's tweet coincided with his trip to El Paso, after touring a Dayton hospital where victims of the weekend's mass shooting were being treated. 

'Watching Sleepy Joe Biden making a speech. Sooo Boring! The LameStream Media will die in the ratings and clicks with this guy,' the president wrote. 

Former vice president Joe Biden delivered remarks on the 'Battle for the Soul of Our Nation'

'It will be over for them, not to mention the fact that our Country will do poorly with him. It will be one big crash, but at least China will be happy!'

Trump sent out the tweet at 3:01 pm. The commentary came after Biden delivered a speech in Iowa, which the president must have caught from aboard Air Force One.

Biden ran through a list of incendiary comments by Trump, including comparing the immigrant Caravan as an 'invasion.' The El Paso shooter railed against Hispanics and complained about an invasion.

'It's both clear language, and in code this president has fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation,' said Biden. 

'His low energy, vacant eyed mouthing of the words written for him condemning white supremacists this week I don't believe fooled anyone, at home or abroad,' Biden said.

He was referencing the president's Monday speech at the White House, where Trump denounced white supremacy, as many critics had called on him to do.

'Low energy' is an insult Trump himself often uses, including on former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in the 2016 primary.   

'An energetic embrace of this president by the darkest hearts and most hate-filled minds in this country say it all. When the white nationalist Richard Spencer celebrated Trump's election by declaring "Hail Trump" at an alt-right conference where the Nazi salute was being used.'

Biden continued: 'David Duke, the former leader of the KKK, said this is why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he is going to take back the country. After Trump tweeted his go back screed, a leading neo-Nazi website said, this is the kind of nationalism we elected him for. He knows it. He saw it,' said Biden.

The clash between Trump and Biden, the poll leader among Democratic presidential candidates, came on a day when Trump teed off on rivals at the White House, but aides kept the press away from his hospital tour in Dayton. 

Aide Dan Scavino tweeted out smiling images of Trump meeting with medical staff, as well as a video of the visit, but pool reporters traveling with the president were not able to witness it. 

Biden's campaign called the remarks a 'Battle for the Soul of Our Nation.'

Although he sometimes meanders between stories at campaign events, Biden read from a teleprompter and delivered several lines with force Wednesday.  

'On January 20th, 2017, in his inaugural address, Donald Trump painted a dark, bleak picture of our country in crisis, and he declared “this American carnage stops right here, and stops right now.”

'But as president Trump’s anger, hate and divisiveness – pitting Americans against one another, preying on our divisions, and doing nothing – nothing – about the epidemic of guns is fueling a literal American Carnage. We now have more mass shootings than we’ve had days in this year. As of Monday, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive, there have been 255 mass shootings in 217 days,' said Biden.
