There are endless discussions to be had now that Episode Three of Game of Thrones' final season has finally aired.

And while there was plenty to tweet about from beginning to end, one grievance was common throughout social media.

Many viewers complained about the amount of darkness during Sunday night's episode and shared a number of GIFs about their experience.

Fans across the globe took to social media with hilarious posts about the unexpected darkness.

'If you can't see what's going on then is it really happening,' queried @MollyJongFast. 

@MG_gumbercules shared a square black post with the words, 'Hands down my favorite scene from tonight's episode of #GOT #GameofThrones.'

'I would like to personally thank drogon and rhaegal for providing us with the only source of light to actually see anything this episode,' shared @vazquez_ac over photos of a dragon shooting fire into the coming White Walker army.
