'A healthy relationship is one where you feel connected, you feel supported, you've got each other's back, there's lots of respect, understanding and trust in the relationship,' Jacqueline told The Morning Show.
'But a toxic relationship is when all of that is gone and you're not feeling you got that connection with your partner... there's a lot of withdrawing and attacks. It gets toxic to a point where it starts affecting people's health and wellbeing.'
She explained how toxic relationships usually stem from the dynamic between two people.
'It's the dynamic, we come into relationships with no training and we don't actually know how to do relationships,' Jacqueline said.
'So inevitably, they're going to go a bit wrong and then it just gets worse and worse, so it's actually the dynamic between two people that is toxic.'

She revealed the signs that could mean it's time to end things.
'The obvious signs are when there's actually physical or emotional abuse, so that's fairly clear. But often, they're much more subtle than that,' she said.
'They could be passive aggressive, you feel like you're being manipulated in some way or you're manipulating your partner because you can't be direct about things.
'Often you can feel humiliated, you're not feeling like your partner respects you or gets you - it's generally very emotionally draining like everything just seems to be an effort, nothing's working.
'And often if you're getting sarcasm and criticism and there's a lot of contempt - they're the red flags and they often come first in subtle ways.'
So how do you decide when enough is enough?
'If one couple won't do the work and they're just saying "it's all your fault, there's nothing wrong with me, I'm not going to therapy" - get out of there,' she warned.
'Obviously if there's any physical abuse, you need to get out... you can't resolve that.'
