Yahoo News first reported the call that a separate source confirmed for DailyMail.com.
The news outlet said Trump told Nadler, 71, that he was 'tough' in the phone conversation during the long-haul flight.
Nadler slumped over while he was seated during a Manhattan news conference on May 24. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said afterward that he thought the Democratic congressman had fallen asleep, until he tapped him on the shoulder.
He asked the lawmaker who wants to begin impeachment proceedings if he was OK, and Nadler told him, 'No.'
The congressman was rushed away by ambulance and said later he was 'obviously dehydrated and felt a bit ill' during the televised event. Nadler was held overnight for observation, but returned to work after Memorial Day.
Hours after Nadler fell ill, the president lashed out at Democrats trying to get their hands on the entire Mueller report in a tweet.
'The Dems want a second shot at Bob Mueller, are very unhappy with the No Collusion Report. They should not be allowed to play this game any longer - no second chances - must get back to work. So bad for our Country!' he said.

Trump didn't mention Nadler, who's leading the charge, by name in his assault. He hasn't attacked the New Yorker by name in tweets since the medical incident.
The politicians of opposing parties have sparred over impeachment and Trump construction projects in New York City, which they're both natives of and continue to call home.
Nadler held a hearing on Capitol Hill on Monday designed to lay the groundwork for forcibly removing Trump from office, bringing in ex-Republican President Richard Nixon's former White House counsel, John Dean.
Dean testified on the 'remarkable parallels' between Trump and Nixon.
On Sunday, former President Jimmy Carter, also a Democrat, said Trump called him after he injured his hip in a fall. Carter said that Trump called in response to a letter Carter wrote him to talk about trade with China.
