Rescue underway for 14 people involved in 'marine accident' off Gladstone

A rescue helicopter is on its way to a "marine accident" off the coast of Gladstone involving approximately 14 people after a boat overturned and caught fire this morning.

Queensland Ambulance said the people reportedly evacuated to a smaller vessel "that is said to be taking on water".

It said all people who were onboard the overturned boat have been accounted for.

No serious injuries have been reported.

Two helicopters are on their way to the scene.
