Paul Manafort's luxurious Manhattan condo has been put on the market for $3.6million by the U.S. Marshals

While Paul Manafort serves out his seven-and-a-half-year prison sentence, the U.S. Marshals has put his luxurious Manhattan condo up for sale, DailyMail.com can reveal. 

The newly-renovated two-bedroom loft in New York City's 'hottest' SoHo location boasts a key-locked elevator that opens directly into the loft's 'enormous entertainment space' with a private bedroom wing.

The U.S. Marshals lists the full-floor loft at $3.6million, which includes a walk-in closet, two bathrooms and a marble bath with a steam shower and soaking tub. 

Manafort, 70, wont have any use for the pad after being found guilty of federal bank fraud, tax and conspiracy charges last year.

He is currently serving his federal prison sentence in Pennsylvania, but Donald Trump's former campaign manger will be arraigned in New York on 16 charges of mortgage fraud and falsifying business documents later this month. 

He is expected to be held at Rikers Island in New York for the arraignment.

The $3.6million property boasts a key-locked elevator that opens directly into the loft's 'enormous' entertainment space with a private bedroom wing

The loft has been recently-renovated, complete with a new kitchen that features stone and stainless steel finishes  

The 2,061-square-foot loft is in a 'rare' five unit condo that was built in 1895.

The home currently has a distinct entry foyer, formal living room with a wood-burning fireplace, dining area and kitchen. 

But the U.S. Marshals' listing describes the home as having a 'flexible floor plan' and suggests switching it up to 'create one enormous open plan loft room'.

The loft has been recently-renovated with new walnut floors, central air conditioning and a new kitchen with stone and stainless steel finishes.

The space also features exposed brick walls, large windows for natural sunlight and a 'generously sized' guest bedroom and bath with a washer and dryer. 

The unit on Howard Street 'has remarkable open sky and city views looking north up coveted Crosby St,' according to the listing. 

There are two bathrooms in the unit, one with a luxurious marble bath with a steam shower and soaking tub

Manafort won't have much use for the condo now that he is serving out his seven-and-a-half-year federal prison sentence in Pennsylvania

The unit is located on 29 Howard St with 'remarkable open sky and city views looking north up coveted Crosby St,' according to the listing

Manafort will likely be detained at the former prison hospital known as the North Infirmary Command on Rikers Island. 

The island serves as New York City's main jail complex and is located in the East River between Queens and the Bronx. It is made up of nine jails with a total of 7,500 inmates.  

The North Infirmary Command is where high-profile inmates, including politicians and celebrities, are typically held. 

Manafort will reportedly be kept in solitary confinement 'for his own protection'.  

The request to move Manafort to Rikers was made by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.

Presumably, Vance made the request as Manafort has been indicted in New York State on 16 felony charges, a move to ensure the former attorney would still face prison time even if Trump were to pardon him for his federal crimes.
