Singer Adele separated from husband, Simon Konecki
Adele and her charity CEO husband, Simon Konecki, have separated.
The pop singer's representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh confirmed the news Friday in a statement to The Associated Press.
"Adele and her partner have separated," the emailed statement said. "They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."
Adele, 30, gave birth to their son, Angelo, in 2012.
The couple were together for seven years and kept the status of their relationship private. Adele revealed in 2017 they had married when she referred to Konecki, 45, during a Grammy Awards acceptance speech as her husband.
The British singer-songwriter won album of the year Grammy for 25, which was also the world's best-selling album in 2015.
