Orion Pictures has released the first look at the murderous doll Chucky from the upcoming Child's Play remake.
The first trailer was released back in February, but it didn't reveal a full first look at the Chucky doll, until now.
The photo was released through the Child's Play Movie Twitter on Wednesday, which also revealed that a new trailer is coming on Thursday.

The photo features Chucky in a multi-colored rainbow sweater under denim overalls, similar to the look he had in the original Child's Play, released in 1988.
His denim overalls have 'Buddi' embroidered onto them, which is the name of the actual doll.
The actual doll doesn't come with the razor-sharp butcher's knife Chucky is holding, though, which he uses to terrorize a young family.

The story follows Karen Barclay (Aubrey Plaza), a young mother who gives the Buddi doll to her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman).
It was revealed at WonderCon in March that Mark Hamill will be lending his voice to Chucky, replacing Brad Dourif, who voiced Chucky in all of the previous movies.
The cast also includes Brian Tyree Henry playing Detective Mike Norris and Tim Matheson playing Henry Kaslan, CEO of the company that makes the Buddi dolls.

The Child's Play franchise was spawned in 1988 with the original movie, written and directed by Tom Holland from a script he co-wrote with Don Mancini and John Lafia.
That lead to the 1990 sequel Child's Play 2, 1991's Child's Play 3, 1998's Bride of Chucky and 2004's Seed of Chucky, which all featured Brad Dourif voicing Chucky.
Dourif also returned for the 2013 straight-to-video sequel Curse of Chucky and 2017's Cult of Chucky.

Orion Pictures has set a June 21 release date for Child's Play, putting it up against Disney's highly-anticipated animated sequel Toy Story 4 and Lionsgate's action film Anna.
The next week it will square off with another movie about a deadly doll, New Line Cinema's Annabelle Comes Home, in theaters June 28.
It also arrives a week before Sony's Men In Black International and Warner Bros. Shaft on June 14.
