This amazing eco-friendly holiday home could be the most remote of its kind in the UK and is available from just £30 per person, per night.

The Skye Eco Pod is located in Minginish on the beautiful Isle of Skye, famous for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. It is connected to Scotland’s northwest coast by a bridge.

Would-be guests get a glimpse of the breathtaking Cuillin Mountains in the distance, which are visible from the outdoor decking area

Off the living area is the pod’s only bedroom, which is home to a zip-and-link king-size bed that can be made into twin beds if required

The isle is littered with superb countryside walks - Talisker Bay, Glenbrittle Beach, the Fairy Pools and the Cuillin Mountains are all excellent hiking destinations
