Fans have criticised Lorde for posting a photo on social media of a bathtub alongside lyrics from Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You - after the American songstress was discovered dead in her hotel bathroom in 2012.
On Thursday, the New Zealand-born singer posted an Instagram photo from her 'day off'. The image showed a running bathtub and included the caption: 'And iii will always love you'.
The Royals star, 21, was swiftly criticised for being insensitive and her social media followers encouraged her to delete the post.

She wrote: 'Extremely, extremely poorly chosen quote. I'm so sorry for offending anyone - I hadn't even put this together, I was just so excited to take a bath.
'I'm an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.'
