Cornwall has been revealed as the number one destination for family holidays in the UK by the AA.
Research to mark National B&B Day shows that the county on England's rugged southwestern tip is home to the most number of B&Bs catering to children of all ages, with 72 family friendly lodges in total.
The AA has also named the top nine B&Bs across the country for parents to take their children to.

The converted farmhouse, which starts at £85 a night, has a number of spacious rooms to accommodate large families and there is a games room decked out with a snooker table, table tennis, darts, puzzles and board games.
The Cottage Hotel in Hope Cove, Devon, which boasts two safe sandy beaches on its doorstep, also makes the cut, as does Stoke Gabriel Lodgings in Totnes, Devon, with its homely appeal.
The B&B, where rooms start from £48 a night, is run by David and Helen Littlefair along with their three grown-up daughters.
Rounding out the list is The Commercial in Aberdeenshire, The Coppleridge Inn in Dorset, The Crown Inn in North Yorkshire, The Haughmond in Shropshire, The Royal Oak in West Sussex and Trecarne House in Liskeard, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.

The AA notes that the most popular benefit of staying at a family-friendly B&B is the option of a children’s menu, followed by safe play areas, baby-sitting services and children’s entertainment.
While Cornwall is shown to be the best spot for families, Devon is a close second with 68 B&Bs catering for families of all ages.
Somerset comes in third, with 67 B&Bs offering family friendly extras, while North Yorkshire is fourth with 65, and Cumbria is fifth with 47, over half of which offer children’s menus.

Commenting on the awards Simon Numphud, the managing director of AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, said: 'British families have a wealth of choice when it comes to booking a family friendly B&B this Easter.
'It's great to see B&Bs across the country going the extra mile to ensure families have everything they need to make their stay even more enjoyable, and it’s wonderful to mark National B&B Day to celebrate the incredible variety of B&Bs throughout the UK.'
In total, 1,226 B&Bs registered with the AA are family-friendly, taking bookings from families with children of any age, and 1,215 of these offer something extra to make families' lives easier.
