Justin Trudeau's motorcade was involved in an accident near Los Angeles Friday night leaving three people hospitalized.

The 46-year-old Canadian Prime Minister was leaving the Reagan Presidential Library where he had given a speech when a Toyota Highlander turned left in front of his motorcade, ABC News reports. 

The collision occurred around 7:22pm along Madera Road near Aristotle Street in Simi Valley, California.

The collision, which occurred in Simi Valley, California, left three people hospitalized 

A California Highway Patrol Officer, who was leading the motorcade on his motorcycle, was hospitalized with 'non-critical' injuries 

California Highway Patrol spokeswoman Elizabeth Kravig said the female driver, traveling with her son, turned in front of the motorcade and struck a motorcycle driven by a California Highway Patrol Officer. 

The officer was leading the motorcade. 

Kravig said the driver and her son were taken to a hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

The CHP officer was also injured and hospitalized with 'non-critical' injuries.

The vehicle Trudeau was in was not involved in the crash and his motorcade eventually continued on its way.
