What the PM might be considering a horrible Monday started on rock music station Triple M in Brisbane, when, in memory of the late guitarist and songwriter Malcolm Young, Mr Turnbull was asked what was his favourite AC/DC song?

A pause followed, leaving the audience hanging on a long, "Ahhhhhh". As the PM recovered, and turned the question back on his interrogators, "Well what's your favourite one?" he had created a void that Twitter has had fun filling with helpful suggestions.

At first tweeters were surprised, "Imagine going onto Triple M BRISBANE without a working knowledge of at least ONE Acca Dacca tune," commented one.

Another, with the recent political citizenship turmoil in mind cited the constitution, suggesting Mr Turnbull's faux pas could make him ineligible to sit in Parliament.

Meanwhile, back in the interview Mr Turnbull said he was a romantic and liked Mental as Anything's If You Leave Me Now.

The Prime Minister told the rock audience appealed "to the old romantic in me".

Tweeters kindly helped out with actual AC/DC songs, with one adding topical tweaks:

Joining in the fun, the PM's office conceded Mr Turnbull could brush up on his Aussie music, and asked for play list suggestions.

External Link: @thepmo: "Alright, alright. The PM needs a refresh on his Aussie music so we're making him a playlist starting with ACDC and a bit of Daryl Braithwaite.

Into the breach rode more than 370 twitter users, and still counting.
